Dear future girlfriend #35

I feel inspired to write; so I thought I’d have a go at writing a poem for you. The distance between us is getting closer and closer. Knowing that makes me happy.

Another Day Gone

Another day gone,
as the sun goes down,
and the stars come out,
I find myself stuck between four walls,
thinking of you.

Another day gone,
but that’s okay,
because really,
that’s another day closer to you,
my future love.

Another day gone,
not too long now,
the time will come,
and we will realize that the wait,
was worth it all.
