Oh the spring time thinks that it’s the best, and fall time thinks that it’s the best. Cold time has, kind of a strut, and Valentines thinks that it’s the best. But gather ‘round peeps, I’ll tell you the truth; nothing beats the cookie season, that’s the truth!
Happy Valentines Day!
To all the lucky lovers, happy Valentines Day! Cherish your loved one and know that you are very lucky to have them.
I know a lot of people who are so against Valentines Day. I agree with the fact that you don’t need a special day to spoil your loved one, but it’s more than that. It’s a day to remind you of how beautiful love is, and how lucky you are to have a special someone to share your life with.
I guess being single makes you more appreciative of the day, in that sense.
In another sense, it makes you quite the bitter person.
Dear future girlfriend #36
So it was my cousins wedding tonight; I think this is the second cousin of mine to get married since I started writing to you. It was at a beautiful vineyard; the whole thing was just perfect.
I love weddings; and every one I’ve been to, I’ve thought about you. I’m far from ready for marriage, but dammit, I can’t wait to love and actually be loved. I don’t know what it is, maybe because Valentines Day is just around the corner, I don’t know; but I am so, desperately, in need of you.
I just want to take you out and get that feeling where everyone else disappears; and all that’s left is you and me.
Find me.
Dear future girlfriend #19
Happy Valentines Day
Your future Valentine.
Dear future girlfriend #18
It’s Valentines day in a weeks time. Another one spent alone and without you. Looking forward to that future 14th of February where we’re together. Where I’d wake you up to breakfast in bed, yes, made by me. Should be interesting, but I’m sure I can manage some waffles and heart-shaped strawberries. You signed up for corny.
“Delicious!”, you’d say. I’d smile. The day has just begun.
I blindfold you and take you to the highest point in town, where we’d look over the city and spot our houses, listen to our voices echo, joke, laugh, live… together. You and me. We’d go for a walk on the beach, sun shining down with your hand in mine. We’ll stop for ice cream before lunch, whatever your heart desires. Today is about you. We talk, mostly me, repeating how lucky I am to have you and how gorgeous you’re looking.
At this point you’re probably wondering what I got you, surely breakfast in bed isn’t all you’re worth. Of course not! You’re worth more than I can give, but I won’t stop giving. I open a little red box with a necklace in it. I put it on you before giving you a cheeky kiss. You don’t like it, but you lie and tell me you do. All necklaces look the same to me, it was that… or one of the other shiny ones.
We stop by the video store on the way home, rent out some romantic chick flicks including the cliche and classic Notebook and A Walk to Remember. A couch, a blanket, some popcorn and that’s us for the evening. Cuddled up together with nothing but us on our minds. Not a care in the world. Just us.
The future sounds like a dream, I’m just hoping it comes true.
Hurry up and be my Valentine.
