I’m so amazed right now.
One of my posts is about to reach 100,000 notes. I never really pay attention to that stuff, but that is a very large number; and when I think about that many people not only seeing something that I made but also liking it… it’s a strange feeling.
I honestly had no idea I’d be reaching out to so many people when I started a blog; I never even thought I’d stick around for this long. I’ve read statistics about my blog that just blow my mind… like how I’ve had visitors from Papua New Guinea, Kazakhstan, Senegal, Madagascar, Iraq (country of birth, so awesome)… so many different countries, literally all over the world.
I appreciate it all so very much, I am blessed to have such an amazing outlet. So here’s a big, gigantic, thank you to all my followers and to everyone who visits my blog. You’re all wonderful, beautiful people.

My first advice.
The first advice I’m going to give my child is to live life their own way; I don’t expect anything of them. I know that might sound crazy, but think about it.
It’s not because I don’t care, I’d want nothing but the best for my children; but the world is so full of expectations the last thing I want to do is add more. There is no such thing as the human standard, no matter what anyone tries to tell you.
Be what you want to be, do what you want to do.
It’s your life.
